As a Quality Assurance Team Lead at InnovationTeam, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efforts of the quality assurance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products or services. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining quality standards, guiding team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage a team of quality assurance engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Define, implement, and enforce quality assurance processes, standards, and methodologies across the organization, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and operations, to establish clear quality objectives, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign testing tasks to team members, balancing workload and deadlines to meet project deliverables.
  • Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test scripts developed by the team, ensuring coverage of all requirements and features.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals, status updates, and expectations, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, defects, and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, taking proactive measures to address issues and mitigate risks.
  • Champion a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team and the organization, promoting a shared commitment to excellence.
  • Collaborate with management to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and track the effectiveness of the quality assurance process.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities, providing input and recommendations from a quality perspective.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance, incorporating relevant advancements into team processes and workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Previous experience in the Telco industry.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, with a track record of leading and managing teams in a software development environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques, including both manual and automated testing.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools, such as Jira, TFS or equivalent.
  • Experience with Agile development practices, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA are a plus.
