OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:


The Lead OT Security Engineer will be part of a team who is responsible for monitoring and protecting MA'ADEN OT infrastructure across all MA'ADEN plants.

The lead Engineer will work closely with the OT/ICS team in different plants to frequently conduct vulnerability/risk assessments and develop a mitigation plan to reduce risks.

In addition, the lead engineer will be responsible for leading cybersecurity compliance assessment against MA'ADEN policy, on a periodic basis, and support business units to fully comply with MA'ADEN cybersecurity policy and government regulations.

Further responsibilities include working with the SOC team for alerts/incident investigation, security solutions deployment & improvement, network architecture review and cybersecurity best practices implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering with an advanced degree desirable
  • ISA/IEC 62443 and GIAC certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • At least 710 relevant experience

  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English.

  • An ability to work autonomously, cooperatively, and remotely from the corporate office with other business units & plants.

  • Coordinate with relevant functions to alert them of Cyber events across Ma'aden.
  • Coordinate the appropriate response and corrective actions following the Cyber event

  • Work with the security operation team to ensure OT monitoring is conducted effectively.

Cyber Security Compliance:

  • Monitor the execution of Cyber Security policies and controls in MA'ADEN plants.
  • Provide input on the Cyber Security threats and risks in terms of IT and OT in cooperation with Enterprise Cyber Security team, ICT functions and Process controls owners in Ma'aden Corporate and business units.
  • Comply with auditing activities to ensure security policies, requirements and best practices are effectively applied
  • Reviewing polices, plans, and processes and ensure compliance
