  • As the Aviation Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee and direct all aviation maintenance operations. You will report to the IMSS DAA Manager and supervise the program activities of aviation maintenance (AVIM/AVUM). Your duties include ensuring that maintenance procedures and activities are thoroughly planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized among organizations to achieve established platform operational readiness rates as agreed upon in the contract. You will also collaborate with aviation logistics and supply chain management requirements with the Logistics Manager. You will work closely with the Flight Operations lead for rotary wing aviation operations, which involve MD530FF aircraft. Additionally, you will function as the organization's point of contact with the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) for issues related to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, airframes, warranties, and Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) activities. Your comprehensive knowledge of USG AWR, FAA regulations is critical for this position, as you must have a thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulations. Leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are all necessary for your role as the Aviation Maintenance Manager.
    Major Duties and Responsibilities
A

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and synchronizing maintenance activities among designated organizations to ensure platform operational readiness (OR) rates are achieved in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Establishing maintenance systems, processes, procedures, and reports to maintain situational awareness of platform OR rates.
  • Setting maintenance organizational goals, objectives, and priorities to achieve stated OR rates.
  • Managing maintenance in support of the Division Manager and Logistics Manager activities for platform parts and spares.
  • Maintaining quality control processes, procedures, standards, measures, and reports to support a quality control inspection program for all maintenance and in coordination with SCM activities.
  • Conducting directed inquiries, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance and supporting maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring the training, currency, and qualifications of assigned maintenance pilots, maintenance technicians, and crew chiefs.

Supervising the following organizational personnel:
- a. Aviation Maintenance Technician, Production Control- b. Aviation Maintenance, Quality Control Supervisor- c. Assigned Aviation Repair Personnel9. Chairing a weekly coordination and synchronization meeting as the Production Control Officer with the Logistics Manager, Flight Operations lead, and coordinating activities and requirements for maintenance operations support.

  • Supporting a professional development program to promote Saudization-localization.
  • Ensuring all maintenance operations and related support activities are conducted safely. Performing other duties as assigned and required by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
You will be the primary supervisor of all Maintenance Department personnel and accountable for maintenance facilities and property.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • A
ssociates degree in aviation maintenance or related field desired

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation management or related field preferred
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required
  • Rotary Wing Aviation rating preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation maintenance operations required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in aviation maintenance operations required.
  • Experience with MD500FF series aircraft preferred.
  • Experience in military aviation maintenance operations or civilian aviation management preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Production Control Officer / NCOIC desired
