What we need from you

  • Ensure that both direct and indirect departmental costs are achieved in line with the budget.
  • Achieve restaurant budget throughout the year.
  • Achieve positive results on restaurant operations and guest service through comment cards submitted by guests.
  • Maintain the restaurant reservation book properly with all related information.
  • Co-ordinate with the F & B Manager for restaurant requirements.
  • Improve service standards through Continuous Improvement Process & Can-Do approach.
  • Achieve maximum percentage rating at the Quality Assurance Inspection conducted by the ICHG and at the annual hygiene Audit conducted by food Hygiene Bureau.
  • Regular training to be conducted for all staff and to ensure that they participate in all training courses conducted by the Training Department.
  • Constant follow up with Chef to be made on presentation, quality and quantity provided.
  • Encourage staff for Cross Exposure training during low seasons in other departments i.e. Housekeeping, engineering etc.,
  • Co-ordinate with Sales Team for sales leads and opportunities.
  • Participates in Sales Blitz and telemarketing organized by the hotel.
  • Achieve both company standards and local requirements with regard to Hygiene and Cleanliness in all area of the department and that safe and hygiene working practices are fully implemented throughout the areas of responsibility.
  • Minimize extra hours and lieu leave and maximize staff productivity.
  • Minimum of 12 sales calls to be made in a week.
  • Ensures full adherence to Company policies and procedures and operating legalities.
  • He has the authorization to sign complimentary checks or offer complimentary checks or offer complimentary drink when it is required in order to appease dissatisfied guests.
  • Ensures that departmental induction training and job skills training is effectively in place.
  • Keep an up to date standard recipe file for all menu items.
  • Reduce breakage's to a minimum and ensure that breakage control sheet is maintained properly.
  • Select new employees who meet or exceed the position specifications in accordance with company policy.
  • Available at the outlet to meet guests check their needs suggestions etc.
  • Conduct departmental meeting once a month with the supervisory staff.
  • Ensure risk management systems are in places in the department and that staff have been trained in all aspects of fire, safety and security.
  • Implement and follow up on daily, weekly and monthly inspection check list and obtain maximum quality and efficiency.
