In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our VxRail hyper-converged infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation, and providing technical support for VxRail-related issues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize our VxRail environment for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for VxRail-related incidents and service requests, including user inquiries and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor VxRail performance and escalate issues to higher support levels as needed.
  • Handle escalated VxRail-related incidents and service requests.
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis of VxRail issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Configure and manage VxRail clusters, including resource allocation, storage provisioning, and virtual machine management.
  • Implement and maintain VxRail monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors and technical support teams to address VxRail-related problems and implement solutions.
  • Assist in VxRail capacity planning and performance optimization.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of VxRail documentation, including configuration guides and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in hyper-converged infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • years of experience in VxRail administration and support, with exposure to differenct support levels.
  • good knowledge of VxRail architecture, components, and software-defined storage technologies.
  • Experience in VxRail troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing VxRail clusters, including virtual machine provisioning and management.
  • Familiarity with VxRail monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Dell EMC VxRail Appliance Deployment and Implementation) are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex VxRail issues and provide efficient solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
