1. Develop an in-depth understanding of banking network requirements, including security, performance, and compliance considerations.

  • Lead the design and implementation of network solutions for banks, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
  • Design and document network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and data center networks, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Define network security strategies and policies, implementing measures to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Evaluate and recommend network technologies and products, considering factors such as performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to network engineering teams throughout the implementation and maintenance phases.
  • Conduct network assessments and audits, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending remediation measures.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing network solutions to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in network architecture and security, with a focus on the banking sector.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing network solutions for banks, including LAN, WAN, and data centre networks.
  • Expertise in network security principles and practices, including firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, VPN, and access control.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements related to network security, such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
  • Experience with network technologies and protocols, including Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, MPLS, BGP, and OSPF.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic and English, both orally and in writing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or CISM (preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude towards identifying and addressing network-related challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
