• Manages the purchasing activates of the Hospital as per existing administrative and operational policies and procedures.

  • Ensures that suppliers adhere to the policies and procedures of the Hospital.
  • Directs subordinates; conducts on – the – job training: completes employee periodic evaluations; and assists in development of policies and procedures governing the activities of the department.
  • Secure products and services for all assigned user departments in a timely, professional manner.
  • Prepares department budgetary planning including capital equipment requests and preparation of all related reports, whenever it is required.
  • Chairs all departmental meetings and ensures that the minutes of such meetings are forwarded to the responsible medical committees.
  • Maintain adherence of all staff to the allocated privileges and recommend allocation of new privileges for the staff in the department to the Credential and Privileging Committee.
  • Supervises the work of all departmental staff to include Heads, Supervisors, and administrative support staff and conduct or approve their annual appraisal.
  • Keeps the Administration informed of department activities and receives guidance from them to accomplish his duties.
  • Directs and controls the personnel functions of assigned staff including the recruitment, orientation, appraisals and recommendations for promotion disciplinary action of said staff.
  • Ensures that new employees, interns and trainees are given proper orientation and training. Assists and supports the staff in the identification, development, and implementation of their role according to his/her career development plan.
  • Reports to the department Director regarding operation of the section and development of new protocols or research projects

Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Business Administration or related discpline
