Brief Description

CHINT Global is a leading provider of electrical switchgear solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team in Dammam, KSA. The role involves managing the transportation of goods, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in logistics management.

Job Summary

As a logistics specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and materials within our supply chain. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics processes, excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate Logistics Operations: Plan and execute the transportation and distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
  3. Customs Clearance: Work closely with customs authorities to ensure compliance with all import/export regulations, particularly in the Saudi Arabian market.
  4. Supplier and Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to optimize logistics processes.
  5. Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for shipments, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the logistics and supply chain operations.
  7. Communication: Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, providing timely updates on logistics activities.
  8. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to logistics operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian customs regulations and import/export requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, based in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, subject to the labor regulations of KSA. Occasional travel to regional and international markets when required.
