Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD Coordinator to join our team

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsibility for Parsons's CAD Coordination for SAPL Qiddiya Infrastructure Partner (QIDP).

Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and with other delivery partners.

QIC is providing strategic direction for all partners in the three-way partnership with other partners on a city-wide basis. Reports directly to the Senior Engineering Manager.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

CAD Coordinator role is to work in 3D Environment and coordinate CAD team work. Primary responsibility is to support Delivery Teams in coordinating Consultant/ Contractor's design drawings and surface models to required LOD.

CAD Coordinator should also be capable of producing work in required CAD formats that is necessary to make agencies submission in obtaining their approvals.


  • Closely work with the Engineers in coordinating designs of assigned scope of work.
  • Prepare engineering drawings comprised of basic arrangements, layouts, etc
  • Perform dimensional and routine calculations required for drawing preparation.
  • Check accuracy of layouts and drawings and make adjustments as necessary.
  • File and maintain drawings to ensure proper backup.
  • Completes additional duties as assigned.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Engineering degree/diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 7 years work experience in infrastructure projects.
  • Expertise in Navisworks, Civil 3D and Microstation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • CAD Certified.
  • Coordination of programwide base model, including As Built Information, Infrastructure Design, site constraints and statutory authority information.
  • Development of programwide CAD manual
  • Modifies existing designs /CAD model information as necessary.
  • Serves as part of a functional team to complete assignments according to schedule.
  • Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.

  • Demonstrated teamwork skills.
  • Proven experience of working within complex construction environment.
  • Ability to follow through & clearly deliver work instructions in a complex stakeholder environment.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting). Ability to interact with seniorlevel management. Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, coworkers, employees, vendors, and contractors.
  • Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
