We are currently seeking a passionate Mechanical Sales Engineer to foster and strengthen relationships with key customers and trade organizations, solidify purchase agreements, customer alliances, and stay abreast of market trends. Based in Yanbu, this role entails acquiring an in-depth understanding of Flowserve operations to enhance sales effectiveness and collaborate with internal and external selling partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive bookings to meet or exceed specified goals
  • Maintain regular communication with key customers in your area
  • Develop and execute marketing plans aligning with regional sales objectives
  • Act as the primary contact for all customer interactions, addressing concerns promptly
  • Educate customers on product quality, features, and applications utilizing marketing materials
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure customer needs are met
  • Maintain organized records including reports, quotes, expenses, etc.
  • Show financial acumen in business discussions, emphasizing return on investment
  • Work independently, efficiently, and foster productive communication
  • Engage in physical activities like site visits and lifting responsibilities
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

  • BS or BA Degree in relevant field with 3-5 years of experience
  • Familiarity with rotating pumps, mechanical seals, and related equipment
  • Proficient in product demonstrations, presentations, and business writing
  • Prior sales experience involving rotating equipment
  • Background in oil & gas, power, and chemical industries, including knowledge of API 682 Standard
  • Training in sales techniques, negotiation, and finance
  • Skilled in leading meetings and root cause analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management experience is beneficial
