Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager - PUA/GCS to join their team. In this position, you will be leading medium-sized projects or multiple small projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget according to contractual requirements.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be accountable for project scope development, management, and commercial performance to achieve project objectives. You will define program goals, understand client objectives, and ensure the project's success, managing projects with a total cost of up to $100 million.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Plans, supervises, and controls project execution in all aspects.
  • Oversees the establishment of necessary project plans and documents.
  • Defines program requirements and monitors deliverables.
  • Assigns project tasks to subordinates based on their strengths.
  • Negotiates scope changes with clients and subcontractors.
  • Markets and secures additional project work.
  • Ensures commitments are followed up.
  • Provides project summaries to the team.
  • Assists in performance reviews and development plans.
  • Mobilizes company resources for project completion.
  • Collaborates with support departments for project needs.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 15+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Ability to meet Parsons' project management certification standards.
  • Familiarity with engineering, procurement, and construction.
  • Strong management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
  • Understanding of technology applications in projects.
