The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You will ensure the successful delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.You will be responsible for implementing appropriate programme delivery environments, including people, organisation, process, information and technology.You will promote and influence quality and Service Excellence in all conversations and programme interactions.Advises on complex requirements and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively.Manages planning/scheduling delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes.Oversees planning/scheduling, EVM, project controls methodologies. Influences complex requirements and communicates analysis and corrective measures effectively.Ability to communicate effectively with client/s, project team and stakeholders.Creates plans and analyses trends using numerical and statistical techniques.Supports senior management in negotiations, contract development, due diligence and other business development.Leads the planning team and provides leadership and direction through managers/team.Inspires and empower individuals within their portfolio to deliver high quality standards and outputs.Undertakes tasks required to full fill the requirements of the project/assignment.Provides performance management, technical & career development and coaching.Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You will be responsible for project budgets and ensure operations are fiscally and ethically viable, and meet organisational and legislative compliance obligations.You will support the Operations Director and other senior stakeholders to directly influence long term development of strategy for a function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.You will commit to making a positive impact for our people, our clients, and our planet, and take ownership for holding others to account who do not uphold the Mace values.

You'll need to have:

A bachelor's degree in related field with professional work experience in one or more specific disciplines in the construction, programme, project or commercial management disciplines.Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.Good communications skills.Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.

You'll also have:

Arabic language knowledge is a significant advantage.Expert knowledge of schedule management tools and software.Mastery in setting up effective planning/schedule, management systems and procedures.Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.Extensive experience in the successful planning of projects and programmes in the construction sector. Strong commercial and financial acumen.Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
