  • Mitigate risk and prepare contingency plans.
  • Act as a key advisor to EXCO and Board on Human Resources related matters.
  • Identify short-, medium- and long-term risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Identify and manage CHG's IT risks and ensure governance frameworks and reporting systems are in place to delivery services.
  • Lead and direct the IT function.
  • Lead strategic direction setting and strategic plan for sub-departments in the portfolio in alignment to the company's vision, mission and values.
  • Establish a functional performance management framework annual department plan, roles and responsibilities to enable annual goal tracking.
  • Ensure that all necessary tactical functions, policies and systems are defined, implemented and managed within boundaries and principles of strategic frameworks.
  • Streamline the disciplines in the department and drive alignment, collaboration and synergy between the various stakeholders to provide a comprehensive business solution; establish, integrate and enable the support services.
  • Consult with line managers to plan, control and report on technology activities and performance of the respective business areas.
  • Structure required changes, ensuring they are implemented with change management and strategic engagement of all stakeholders in mind.
