We are currently looking for a Head Chef to join our dynamic team and lead our kitchen operations.

Job Summary:

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff supervision. You will maintain the quality and consistency of our dishes, as well as ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and create menus that meet the company's standards and customer preferences
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking to ensure consistency and quality of dishes
  • Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
  • Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and promotions
  • Manage food cost and labor cost to meet financial targets
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections and address any issues promptly
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
  • Stay updated with industry trends and new techniques to continuously improve the menu and kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Creative mindset with a passion for culinary excellence
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
