Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Description:
A strategic and people leader of a large team, the Ops Manager of Amazon INFC is empowered with complete operations responsibility for Outbound/FCD/Changeops or IB. She/he creates building-level cost efficiencies at a Six Sigma level of deliverables, coupled with driving regional/national level key Brilliant Basics initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
  2. Lead and supervise a team of Area Managers and TL's as direct reportees supported by PAs and Associates in Outbound Operations.
  3. Responsible for the overall safety, quality, productivity, and delivery performance of Outbound Operations.
  4. Strategic planning and forecasting; appraise performance; resolve problems; and address staffing needs.
  5. Review the work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to produce/deliver during the day to meet the overall building objectives.
  6. Ensure building health and inventory metrics with best-in-class quality metrics.
  7. Ensure BM rates and OP2 throughput deliverables.
  8. Interface well with other OMs and take up cross-functionally the adoption of best practices.
  9. Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives.
  10. Learn and understand the system interventions for order processing; apprise teams down the line of new process implementation and control measures required.
  11. Lead ART (Annual Sale) events from a capacity planning perspective and prepare Man, Material, Machine in its perspectives.
  12. Carry out machine (resources) planning periodically and remove/reduce capacity constraints if any in coordination with resource planning and finance teams.
  13. Ensure best practices in people management and be accountable for FC's compliance, connections, and scorecards.
  14. Manage people and team development.
  15. Understand flex levers and take up new Amazon technicalities associated with the role's requirements and Amazon ERP systems.
  16. Create leaders and a talent pipeline; demonstrate good stakeholder management and project management skills.
  17. Do cross-functional and cross-mile interfacing and take up best practices and initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
