Software Sales Representative

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Software Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our software solutions, building and maintaining customer relationships, and meeting sales targets. This role requires a deep understanding of software products and services, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering value to clients.
Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development :
- Identify and generate leads through networking, cold-calling, and online research.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new opportunities.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve sales goals and revenue targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored software solutions.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to prospects.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales.
Product Knowledge and Support :
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of company software products and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Reporting and Administration :
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and documentation.
- Use CRM tools to track leads, customer interactions, and sales progress.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Provide feedback to the development team on customer needs and market trends.
Requirements
Educational Background :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in sales or software (preferred).
Experience :
- Proven experience in software sales, technology sales, or a related field (2+ years preferred).
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Skills and Competencies :
- Strong understanding of software solutions, SaaS models, and the technology industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Resilient and able to handle rejection positively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Other Requirements :
- Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events (if required).
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
