Product Quality Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitor adherence to ensure work is carried out in a controlled manner.
- Ensure compliance with Shell (LQS) lubricants quality standards.
Day-to-Day Operations:
- Oversee daily activities assigned to production quality to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures while managing personnel.
- Conduct daily equipment verification.
Job Specific:
- Create and implement production quality forecasting.
- Supervise and develop product quality and lab employees to achieve established goals related to safety, environmental performance, production volume, quality, service, and cost.
- Monitor the production quality cycle.
- Coordinate with product quality section heads to ensure all employees are properly oriented and trained within the section.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives within departmental employees' performance through regular feedback, coaching, and training.
- Ensure departmental compliance with legislation, regulations, and company policies.
- Review, analyze, and make recommendations regarding safety, environmental performance, quality, expenses, productivity, and customer feedback.
- Handle other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Product Quality Assurance Manager.
- Maintain efficient communication with third-party labs to support a quick production quality cycle.
Reporting:
- Prepare or contribute to the preparation of section reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet JOSLOC requirements, policies, and standards.
- Coordinate with safety, lab, blending, filling, and maintenance departments to ensure full collaboration for achieving equipment efficiency and reducing waste.
- Ensure all assigned quality checks are performed by the blending and filling team as scheduled, with reports filled and filed properly.
- Ensure information is captured accurately and presented to decision-makers in a timely manner.
HSSE:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, security, and environmental procedures across the division to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
