The BI Manager will lead the planning and implementation of the Business Intelligence projects for Convz. They will lead a team of BI consultants, analysts, and engineers, working closely with clients to understand their business needs, develop customized BI solutions, and deliver actionable insights that drive business growth and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Lead client engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for BI initiatives. Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and data requirements.
  • Solution Design: Develop tailored BI solutions that address clients' specific business needs, leveraging industry best practices, cutting-edge technologies, and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Project Management: Manage end-to-end BI projects, from scoping and planning to implementation and delivery. Define project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of BI consultants and analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on delivering exceptional client outcomes.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Oversee the development of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide meaningful insights to clients, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive business performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of BI solutions through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. Implement data governance frameworks to maintain data consistency and compliance.
  • Client Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients on BI tools and solutions, empowering them to effectively use and maximize the value of their data assets.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with existing and prospective clients. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral.
What We're Looking For
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or consulting, with at least 2 years in a client-facing or leadership role.
  • Experience with BI Tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc., and expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex BI projects from inception to delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build trusted advisor relationships with clients.
  • Proficient with SQL queries and experience working with databases.
  • Experience on Cloud Data Platforms such as Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift.
  • Knowledge and experience in Python is beneficial.
  • An aptitude for data analytics, along with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Domain knowledge within Retail, E-commerce, Healthcare, Fintech, Banking, Digital Native Businesses, or other similar industries.
