Job Summary:

A leading women's fitness center in Riyadh is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee business operations, financial management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business administration, operations management, and customer experience in the fitness, hospitality, or service industry. This role requires an individual who is strategic, results-driven, and capable of leading a team to drive growth, enhance member satisfaction, and optimize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Operations & Strategy
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the fitness center, ensuring efficiency and high service standards.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase memberships, enhance customer retention, and maximize revenue.
  • Ensure full compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Identify and implement new business opportunities, services, and partnerships to expand the center's offerings.
  • Supervise facility management, ensuring the gym remains clean, well-maintained, and fully operational.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Monitor financial performance metrics, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins.
  • Implement pricing strategies and membership plans that align with business goals.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to optimize costs.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of fitness professionals and administrative staff.
  • Create a positive and motivating work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, training programs, and coaching sessions to enhance staff development.
  • Ensure all employees uphold the company's service standards and policies.
Sales, Marketing & Community Engagement
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that attract and retain members.
  • Oversee membership sales strategies, customer engagement programs, and promotional initiatives.
  • Establish partnerships with local businesses, corporate clients, and community organizations.
  • Monitor customer trends and feedback to adjust services accordingly.
Member Experience & Retention
  • Ensure a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for all members.
  • Implement customer service initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop new fitness programs, wellness events, and engagement activities.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Saudi National (as per government regulations)
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in the fitness, hospitality, or service industry
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or higher education preferred
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, and cost control
  • Proven experience in team leadership, operations management, and business development
  • Strong sales, marketing, and customer service acumen
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
  • Passion for health, wellness, and fitness
