Project Manger

JOB PURPOSE

Lead a project by overseeing project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, cost management, engineering, procurement, execution and handing-over, in compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental management standards within set deadlines and as per client's requirements.

JOB DUTIES

1. Build and maintain a solid & positive relationship with the client and project stakeholders.
2. Manage the Project Communication whether with Consultants, Client, Subcontractors, Vendors, Interface Contractors, Authorities, securing the Contract requirements.
3. Review project documents and draft contract at tendering phase and provide relevant recommendations and assistance as well as contribute to preparing Tender Stage Execution Plan.
4. Prepare the execution phase by defining project scope, plans, schedule & requirements and oversee the engineering stage, ensuring timely completion of design documents to support procurement and construction.
5. Set up the project construction plans & methodology as well as reporting procedures.
6. Obtain all necessary permits, documents, and licenses as per Interface requirements and local rules and regulations.
7. Manage & supervise the project procurement & Subcontract functions on site.
8. Oversee the execution of the project to ensure that construction activities progress.
9. Maintain the project budget, review, and validate purchase orders and invoices.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum 15 years' experience of which 10 years are in leading projects relevant to the current needs of the specific projects we have on hand.
3. Member of the Order of Engineers and Architects or equivalent organization.
4. Cost management acumen, including assessing and forecasting costs against budgets.
5. Good understanding of Quality, HSSE and Risk Management.
6. Solid knowledge in all aspects of construction/contracting and Project Management.
7. Experience with respective Area regulations & Client requirements are a plus.
