Job Title: Project Manager – Security Camera Systems

Job Description:

As a Project Manager specializing in Security Camera Systems, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of security camera installations and upgrades for clients. You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure all projects meet timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. Your experience in engineering, combined with your PMP certification, will allow you to drive effective project management and deliver state-of-the-art security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for security camera installations and systems upgrades.
    • Develop project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget estimates.
    • Coordinate with clients to understand their security needs and design the appropriate surveillance system.
  2. Team Management:
    • Supervise and manage teams of engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
    • Assign tasks and ensure team members are meeting project deadlines.
    • Ensure the team follows best practices and adheres to safety and quality standards.
  3. Vendor and Stakeholder Communication:
    • Liaise with vendors to source necessary equipment, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
    • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
    • Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of the project, addressing concerns or changes.
  4. Risk and Issue Management:
    • Identify potential risks and create mitigation strategies.
    • Resolve any project issues promptly, keeping the project on track.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards for security camera systems.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Oversee the testing, installation, and commissioning of security camera systems.
    • Conduct site inspections and system checks to ensure proper installation and functionality.
    • Ensure the final deliverable meets the client's requirements and exceeds expectations.
    • Provide training to clients and team members on operating security systems.
    • Offer ongoing maintenance and support to ensure the systems continue to function optimally.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Project Management Expertise: In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, particularly in leading projects within the engineering and security camera industry. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of security camera systems, CCTV installation, and networking technologies. Ability to make technical decisions and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English. Comfortable managing client relationships and communicating project progress.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Effective leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and motivate individuals to achieve project goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges early and implement solutions that keep the project moving forward efficiently.
  • Budget Management: Experience handling project budgets and ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or any relevant field).
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the security camera systems industry, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
