We are seeking a Project Manager – Museum Operations for a 4-month engagement to oversee and manage key museum operations, including collection management. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in museum operations and collection management, ensuring smooth coordination between stakeholders and the successful execution of museum initiatives.

The role will focus on museum asset management, visitor experience optimization, and operational efficiency to enhance engagement and preserve collections. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle management of museum collectibles and ensuring a seamless customer journey.

Key Requirements
  1. 4-6 years of overall professional experience.
  2. Proven experience in Project Management.
  3. Proven experience in museum operations and collection management.
  4. Experience in lifecycle management of museum collectibles and enhancing the visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Museum Operations & Project Execution
  2. Oversee daily museum operations and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
  3. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance museum workflows.
  4. Collection & Exhibition Management
  5. Manage artifact handling, storage, conservation, and inventory tracking.
  6. Oversee the full lifecycle management of museum collectibles.
  7. Coordinate the planning and execution of museum exhibitions and displays.
  8. Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
  9. Collaborate with curators, conservators, exhibition designers, and external vendors.
  10. Act as the main point of contact for logistics, planning, and operational coordination.
  11. Budgeting & Resource Allocation
  12. Ensure optimal use of resources, personnel, and budgets to meet project goals.
  13. Track financial expenditures and provide reports on project progress.
  14. Visitor Experience & Engagement
  15. Develop and implement strategies to enhance visitor experience and satisfaction.
  16. Ensure a seamless customer journey through efficient operations and engaging exhibitions.
  17. Compliance & Risk Management
  18. Ensure adherence to museum policies, security protocols, and cultural heritage guidelines.
  19. Identify and mitigate risks related to museum operations and collections.
