Business Development Manager

The Data Business Development Manager for the KSA region would be responsible for driving revenue growth by leveraging their extensive experience in data solutions sales. Furthermore, should have a deep understanding of the KSA market.
This role demands a seasoned professional with at least 7 years' experience selling data and analytics solutions. Includes expertise in platforms like Informatica, Talend, Snowflake, Power BI, and AI tools. Prior experience in the KSA region is mandatory to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Account Management:
- Manage a portfolio of high-value clients across the KSA region, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Leverage deep understanding of KSA business practices, cultural nuances, and regulatory environments to build strong relationships.
- Act as the primary contact for all account-related matters, addressing client needs, inquiries, and challenges promptly.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the KSA market to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and prospect for new business opportunities across industries such as oil & gas, finance, healthcare, and retail.
- Drive the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Expertise in Data Solutions & AI:
- Showcase strong expertise in data integration, cloud-based solutions, and advanced analytics using Informatica, Talend, Snowflake, Power BI, and AI tools.
- Present customized solutions aligned with client needs, ensuring technical and business alignment.
- Stay updated on cutting-edge technologies and trends relevant to data and AI solutions.
- Client Engagement & Retention:
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders across the KSA region.
- Conduct regular business reviews to ensure clients' evolving needs are met with appropriate solutions.
- Identify and act on up-selling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Reporting & Performance Management:
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to refine sales strategies.
- Ensure the effective use of CRM tools for tracking client interactions and sales performance.
- Work closely with marketing teams to design and execute region-specific lead generation campaigns.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure seamless solutions delivery and post-sales support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- MBA or similar qualifications are a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sales or account management, with a proven track record in data and analytics solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in selling solutions using Informatica, Talend, Snowflake, Power BI, and AI technologies.
- Mandatory GCC experience with a strong understanding of regional industries, business culture, and regulatory requirements.
- It is highly desirable to have an existing network of clients or stakeholders in the GCC market.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of data integration, cloud technologies, business intelligence platforms, and AI tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical value propositions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets in a competitive market.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
- Regional Expertise:
- Deep understanding of GCC business etiquette, cultural nuances, and legal frameworks.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures across the region.
- Technical Acumen:
- Extensive experience with data platforms and analytics tools, including Informatica, Talend, Snowflake, Power BI, and AI solutions.
- Adept at identifying client needs and delivering tailored technical solutions.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- English proficiency is mandatory; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Analytical Thinking:
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage and track sales pipelines effectively.
- Adaptability & Resilience:
- Flexibility to travel extensively across GCC countries as required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment.
