Role Summary:
The HR & OD Director will lead the design and execution of all people strategies across Aljameel Group. This includes overseeing human resources, Saudization, talent acquisition, learning & development, employee relations, HR systems, and organizational design. The role requires building scalable people practices that align with the Group's rapid growth, cross-entity operations, and long-term strategic goals—including IPO readiness for key business units. The role will also drive cultural transformation, workforce optimization, and leadership development to support a future-ready organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement a Group-wide HR strategy aligned with business objectives, Vision 2030, and operational requirements of factories and distribution centres.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and business heads on people matters.
- Build an HR function that is agile, business-focused, data-driven, and capable of supporting current and future growth.
2. Organizational Development & Workforce Planning
- Lead organizational design and restructuring projects to ensure optimal span of control, productivity, and workforce alignment.
- Oversee manpower planning across all sites, including recruitment, succession planning, and talent pipelines.
- Facilitate leadership development programs and internal talent mobility to strengthen succession readiness.
3. Talent Acquisition & Saudization
- Develop and lead talent acquisition strategies for all levels, including critical technical and managerial roles.
- Ensure compliance with Tawteen (Saudization) requirements, including planning, reporting, and government incentives management.
- Build partnerships with universities, training centres, and TAQAT platforms to hire and develop Saudi youth and technical talent.
4. Learning, Training & Development
- Design and implement a Group Learning Framework, including technical training, soft skills, functional academies, and e-learning programs.
- Develop onboarding and induction programs customized to each business unit.
- Measure training effectiveness and align programs with performance improvement and retention.
5. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Establish consistent and fair employee relations practices, grievance procedures, and disciplinary frameworks.
- Drive employee engagement and communication programs to build morale, motivation, and alignment across all levels.
- Oversee annual employee satisfaction surveys and action planning.
6. Performance Management & Rewards
- Implement and improve the performance management system, including goal setting, appraisals, and KPIs linked to business performance.
- Oversee compensation benchmarking, job grading, pay structures, and bonus schemes across the Group.
- Ensure pay equity and compliance with Saudi labour laws and benefits mandates.
7. HR Operations, Systems & Analytics
- Oversee HR operations, payroll, and administration across all factories, warehouses, and corporate offices.
- Work closely with IT to ensure successful implementation and operation of the SAP SuccessFactors (or any ERP) HR module.
- Drive HR analytics and dashboards for leadership decision-making: turnover rates, training hours, Saudization %, cost per hire, etc.
8. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi labour laws, GOSI, Qiwa, Mudad, and all government regulatory frameworks.
- Manage labour contract audits, third-party employee relationships, and cross-entity workforce legal structures.
- Prepare for due diligence and compliance requirements for IPO-readiness and external audits.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering; MBA or Master's in HR/OD preferred.
- Professional certification (CIPD, SHRM, SPHR) is a strong advantage.
- Minimum 12–15 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or multi-entity organizations.
- Deep understanding of Saudi labour law, Saudization policies, and HR best practices.
- Proven track record in organization development, cultural transformation, and people systems implementation.
- Strong leadership, influence, and change management skills.
