What you'll be doing

The Warehousing Automation Manager leads the implementation of automation systems while managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring both are aligned with business objectives and efficiently coordinated with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Lead and manage warehousing automation projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between various stakeholders, including technology teams, legal, and business units, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment in the automation process.
  • Ensure the efficient running of day-to-day warehouse operations, including resource allocation, process adherence, and performance monitoring to maintain optimal productivity levels.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse operations and automation systems, driving efficiency and cost savings.
  • Manage and mentor the automation team, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and aligned with the company's goals.
What you'll need to succeed
  • A degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or in Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation, with a proven track record of implementing and managing automation systems within a warehousing or logistics environment.
  • Prior experience in a logistics or supply chain role, with hands-on involvement in warehouse operation and a deep understanding of how automation impacts these processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex situations, identify inefficiencies, and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, with strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
