As a Project Manager with Quant, you will be responsible for leading the projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation. You will also build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in the allocation of budget, staff, and any other resources that are needed to accomplish set-out projects.
  2. Manage, direct, support, and control all aspects of data science projects both internally and externally, ensuring proper delivery within the identified timeframe, quality standards, cost, and scope of work.
  3. Create required project documents, including project plans, progress reports, change requests, corrective action documents, and any supporting documents for Quant and its clients.
  4. Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans.
  5. Follow up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
  6. Liaise with third parties and communicate with project stakeholders to ensure proper engagement from all parties involved.
  7. Work with other managers and function leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for a project's various elements.
  8. Negotiate necessary changes to the scope of work, project price, and time with the client, key subcontractors, and project team.
  9. Assign responsibility for executing project plans to subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.
  10. Lead weekly meetings with the project team and clients to review project status and create action items.
  11. Develop and ensure the quality of project management policies, tools, and systems, reinforcing organization standards.
  12. Conduct project evaluation reviews and return on investment analysis to assess and document project outcomes.
  13. Periodically report the performance of the projects to senior management and ensure alignment of the company's key targets with the performance of the Data Science Department.
RequirementsPreferred Certifications:
  1. Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Management Information System, Industrial Engineering, business administration, or similar majors.
  2. Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate.
Preferred Personal Qualities:

  3. Effective communication and leadership skills.
  4. Aptitude to work in a diverse environment.
  5. Ability to work in a team as well as an individual with little or no supervision.
  6. Capability of efficiently managing time and tasks.
  7. Proficiency in project management.

  9. Client-focused mindset.
Preferred Business Skillset:
  1. Theoretical and/or practical project management knowledge.
  2. Project management professional (PMP), PRINCE2, Scrum Master or similar certificate.
  3. Knowledge and/or experience of project management techniques, tools, and software.
  4. Experience or knowledge in strategic planning, project planning, risk management, and change management.
  5. Prior exposure in the field of Data Science, AI, and Business Intelligence.
  6. Proficiency in English and Arabic, including speaking, writing, and reading.
Company Preferences:
  1. Exposure to Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Business Intelligence.
  2. Domain knowledge in particular domains (i.e. telecommunication, oil and energy, healthcare, etc.).
  3. Ability to handle large workloads.
