Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a team, controlling budgets and inventory, implementing F&B strategies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The F&B Manager plays a key role in driving the success of the food and beverage offerings, enhancing the guest experience, and supporting the business objectives of Golf Saudi.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update menus to reflect seasonal ingredients, culinary trends, and guest preferences.
  • Plan and execute special promotions, themed menus, and culinary events to drive sales and attract customers.
  • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure menu items are cost-effective, profitable, and meet quality standards.
  • Oversee beverage offerings, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, wines, beers, and specialty cocktails.
  • Manage inventory levels for beverages, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
  • Develop and implement beverage promotions, tastings, and events to boost sales and showcase new products.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise food and beverage service staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and support staff.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills, product knowledge, and customer service.
  • Set performance standards, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback and coaching to improve staff performance and morale.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and guest satisfaction by interacting with guests, addressing inquiries and concerns, and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor service quality and consistency, observing staff performance and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Solicit feedback from guests through comment cards, online reviews, and surveys, and use feedback to make improvements and enhancements to the dining experience.
  • Oversee day-to-day food and beverage operations, including dining room service, bar service, and catering functions.
  • Monitor and analyse sales and financial performance metrics, including revenue, costs, and profit margins, and make data-driven decisions to optimize profitability.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage supplies and maintain quality standards.
  • Manage food and beverage inventory, including ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation of stock to minimize waste and spoilage.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing strategies to improve inventory management.
  • Monitor food and beverage costs, analyse variances, and implement cost control measures to achieve target food and beverage costs and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for guests and staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining areas, bars, kitchens, and storage areas to identify and address cleanliness issues, maintenance needs, and safety hazards.
  • Train staff on proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols, and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Participate in marketing events, tastings, and community outreach initiatives to increase brand awareness and generate customer loyalty.
  • Utilize social media platforms, email marketing, and other digital channels to promote food and beverage offerings, events, and promotions to target audiences.
  • The manager is authorized to assign the employee to any task within the department.

Qualifications:

  • Hospitality Management Degree or equivalent degree in related fields.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation Certification.
  • Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • On-the-Job Training and Experience.
  • Valid Health Card.
