The MENAT region represents one of the fastest growing market opportunities in EMEA. As AWS continues to rapidly grow, we seek a Sales Leader to focus on closing large, complex deals across the Saudi segments. Your responsibility and increased focus will accelerate growth and cloud maturity among our highest priority ENT/ISV customers.
Proven as a trusted advisor and thought leader, you will define the business strategy, develop market-leading mechanisms, and influence senior decision-makers to elevate our ability to help customers within the context of their vertical industry needs. With a strong grasp of AWS value tenets, offerings, and commercial vehicles, you will build and rapidly expand our global partnerships, driving revenue growth and cloud adoption to exceed ambitious targets.
Thriving in dynamic, cross-functional, and global environments, you will partner effectively with partner teams, including Solution Architecture, Partner Success and Development, Business Development, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Product. Your ability to think strategically, build strong internal relationships, and drive operational excellence will be instrumental to your success in this role. You will join the MENAT Leadership team and play a broad role across the region as it scales.
Key job responsibilities- Focus on closing high-value and strategic deals with telecom providers, Saudi public sector entities, Oil and Gas, MEGS, and commercial customers, leveraging both direct sales and channel partnerships.
- Earn trust with and influence C-level executives at customer organizations in the region and within Amazon. Shape or reshape deals to best meet the needs of our customers and leverage AWS' capabilities.
- Ensure optimal deal resourcing, approach, and product mix.
- Focus on large, complex deals at various stages, but may take on deals in other areas of AWS' business.
- Develop scalable strategies to enable winning key strategic deals.
- Resolve deal escalations.
- Analyze data to measure business impact, strategic costs, and benefits of partnerships, creating scalable mechanisms and driving operational excellence.
- Build strong internal relationships across Amazon's diverse businesses, including Product, Professional Services, AWS Partner Programs, Operations, Engineering, Legal, and Finance.
- Experience in large deal/strategic pursuit sales.
- Proven track record of developing, leading, negotiating, and executing corporate and/or business transactions in the telecom industry.
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud technology-related sales management or new business experience in the tech industry.
- Extensive experience in building business cases for multi-million-dollar investments with telecom providers at the CEO level.
- Ability to rapidly learn and apply AWS value tenets, offerings, commercial, and contractual vehicles.
- Fluent Arabic Speaker, Saudi National.
- MENAT experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience selling with ISV and GSI.
- Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company.
