MARKETING MANAGER (TEMPORARY ROLE)

Location: Riyadh, KSA (with travel to UAE as needed)

Contract Duration: Mid-February to Mid-June - likely to go temp to perm

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Position Overview

A leading lifestyle brand is looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager for a temporary 4-month contract based in Riyadh, KSA. The role focuses on driving marketing efforts across KSA and UAE, with a strong emphasis on brand awareness, digital marketing, PR activations, and guerrilla marketing tactics. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the regional market and the ability to execute high-impact marketing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Campaigns & Brand Awareness

  1. Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement across the region.
  2. Work closely with the Head of Marketing to align marketing activities with business goals.
  3. Manage creative assets and copy for performance marketing campaigns in collaboration with the eCommerce team, optimizing content for platforms like Meta, Google, and Snap.
  4. Oversee the marketing calendar and budgets.

PR & Media Relations

  1. Coordinate with PR agencies to strengthen brand awareness and advocacy.
  2. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with media outlets and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to enhance brand reputation.

Guerrilla Marketing & Local Activations

  1. Plan and execute guerrilla marketing campaigns and on-the-ground activations in key cities across KSA and UAE.
  2. Manage logistics for events and activations, ensuring smooth execution aligned with brand guidelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  1. Align marketing initiatives with sales objectives to support product promotion and business growth.
  2. Work with external agencies and vendors to produce marketing materials consistent with brand messaging.
  3. Provide regular performance insights and recommendations to optimize future marketing activities.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  1. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to inform marketing strategies.
  2. Conduct competitive analysis and identify growth opportunities.
  3. Track marketing effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

  1. 4+ years of marketing experience.
  2. Strong background in event planning, activations, and campaign execution with attention to detail.
  3. In-depth understanding of the regional market dynamics and cultural nuances.
  4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  5. Ability to adapt quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Experience in homeware, lifestyle, or consumer goods brands is a plus.
