The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. This individual will work closely with internal teams to enhance service offerings and support client needs while ensuring the achievement of sales targets.

Major Role Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute strategic business plans, monitoring and adjusting operations as necessary.
  2. Client Needs Understanding: Understand client requirements and recommend suitable products and services to meet their needs.
  3. Strategic Objective Formulation: Formulate and implement strategic business development objectives to achieve company targets.
  4. Stakeholder Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.
  5. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions tailored to client requirements.
  7. Persuasive Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, emphasizing the benefits of our products/services.
  8. Agreement Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing arrangements, and other terms to form mutually advantageous partnerships.
  9. Industry Trend Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting business development.
  10. Brand Visibility Enhancement: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
  11. Effective Service Delivery: Ensure the effective delivery of services to clients, aligning with their expectations and goals.
  12. Objective Setting & Management: Set and manage objectives for the team, supporting business growth initiatives and achievement.
  13. Client Value Enhancement: Enhance the value provided to current clients while actively attracting new clients.
  14. Business Development Oversight: Oversee departmental operations within the company to support business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in the events, project management or other marketing-related field required.
  3. Strong organizational and managerial skills.
  4. Experience in developing and executing successful business development strategies.
  5. Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in a relevant industry.
