We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the senior-level position of Accountant and Branch Supervisor within our dynamic Food & Beverages organization. This dual-role superstar will not only exhibit superior accounting acumen but will also embody the leadership prowess required to oversee branch operations effectively. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of financial principles and regulations, combined with a proven track record of managing personnel, operations, and customer relations in a food and beverage setting. This unique role demands a resourceful individual who can seamlessly transition between macro-level supervisory responsibilities and the micro-level intricacies of financial oversight, ensuring both the fiscal integrity and operational excellence of the branch.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the financial aspects of the branch, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, corporate policies, and legal requirements.
  2. Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses, with commentary on variances and trends.
  3. Conduct detailed financial forecasting and strategic planning to guide the branch towards profitable growth.
  4. Supervise and mentor a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring staff adherence to operational standards and company objectives.
  5. Implement and maintain strict internal controls over financial transactions and reporting, minimizing risk and enhancing the accuracy of the organization's reported financial results.
  6. Collaborate with senior management to establish financial targets and develop branch-specific initiatives to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.
  7. Lead the audit process, liaise with external auditors, and address any audit findings with actionable solutions.
  8. Monitor branch performance metrics, providing leadership and direction to improve customer service, quality, and operational efficiency.
  9. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers, service providers, and other external partners.
  10. Spearhead initiatives to increase revenue and market share, focusing on customer satisfaction and retention as key performance indicators.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree or CPA designation is strongly preferred.
  2. A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in accounting with a clear progression of increased responsibility and complexity in roles.
  3. Demonstrated experience supervising branch operations within the food and beverages industry, including staff management, financial reporting, and compliance.
  4. Solid understanding of food and beverage industry regulations, including health codes, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  5. Proven ability to develop and implement robust financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts that align with company objectives.
  6. Highly proficient with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with industry-specific software is advantageous.
  7. Experience in providing financial analysis and advice to senior management, with the ability to influence strategic decision-making.
  8. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  9. Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a track record of driving operational improvements.
  10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to negotiate and manage relationships with vendors and clients.
  11. Legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of the branch location.
