The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre, experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Supports clients and project teams with developing and maintaining information requirements and standards, developing and managing processes within a common data environment, and leading the delivery of the information management function for the project team. Advises, innovates, develops and implements processes described within the ISO19650 series. This includes how the information is produced and assured for digital delivery.

You'll be responsible for:

• Supporting the delivery team/s throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Delegating tasks to others in a way that ensures they are completed effectively.
• Reviewing the BIM execution plan developed by the LDC/contractor.
• Developing and maintaining an understanding of ISO19650 and any applicable standards for clients.
• Ensuring security protocols have been followed for viewing and issuing information on all projects.
• Implementing governance and assurance processes.
• Monitoring digital handover to completion.
• Participating in industry events to stay up to date on the latest BIM developments.
• Producing information standards, methods and procedures, and shared resources.
• Reading, understanding and supporting the delivery of all Mace processes and procedures guides.
• Managing the object library development in alignment with the wider BIM strategy.
• Assuring and checking of the information model.
• Reviewing current technology solutions and researching new solutions that can be used to improve the BIM process, including emerging technologies.
• Staying up to date on the latest developments of applicable classifications.
• Supporting construction sequencing strategy using information models.
• Supporting the Mace cost team in the preparation of cost plans from information models.
• Providing training on using databases, evaluating data, creating templates, conducting assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics.
• Understanding and performing in line with the information management assignment matrix (from Table A.1 of BS EN ISO 19650-2).
• Understanding the setup of processes and tools for CDEs.
• Upskilling the client team, Mace project managers and design team by running BIM knowledge sharing sessions.
• Collaborating with the Mace PM and design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace way.
• Implementing project-specific business intelligence reporting on project BIM performance using Power BI.

You'll need to have:

• A bachelor's degree.
• Content management library systems.
• Autodesk desktop products.
• Validation and verification tools.
• Visualisation tools.
• Databases skill.
• Intermediate Understanding of ISO19650, BS1192, Common Data Environment (CDE), IFC, COBie, and classification.
