Job Summary:

TÜV Rheinland Arabia LLC is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Risk Consultant to join our growing team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and delivering complex risk management projects, particularly within the Maritime, Port Operations, Logistics sectors, and large government/semi-government organizations in Saudi Arabia. You will leverage your deep expertise to conduct comprehensive risk assessments, develop robust risk management strategies, and drive the implementation of effective risk mitigation measures. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional client management abilities, and a proven track record of success in the KSA market.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end risk management implementation projects for clients in KSA, particularly within Maritime, Port Operations, Logistics, and large government/semi-government entities.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to identify, analyze, and evaluate potential risks.
• Develop and implement tailored risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with international standards (e.g., ISO 31000) and local regulations (e.g., KSA SUMUD Index).
• Develop and present clear and concise risk reports and recommendations to client executive management.
• Lead the automation of risk management activities and processes, leveraging technology solutions.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on risk management best practices to clients.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance, training, and support for their professional development.
• Effectively manage client relationships, understand their business needs, and manage their expectations.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within TÜV Rheinland and client organizations.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, regulations, and best practices in risk management, particularly within the target sectors in KSA.

Qualifications:

• Academic Qualification:
• Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
• Advanced Degree (Master's, MBA, PhD) in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields is highly preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Risk Management.
• Strong preference for experience within the Maritime, Port Operations, or Logistics sectors, or large government/semi-government organizations in KSA.
• Experience working in Big 4 or international consulting organizations is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successfully working on large risk management implementation projects in KSA.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive risk assessments and developing effective risk management strategies.
• Proven experience in performing risk analysis using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Previous experience and involvement in the automation of risk management activities is a significant advantage.
• Hands-on experience and thorough understanding of international risk management standards such as ISO 31000.
• Experience working with the KSA SUMUD Index is essential.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team for project execution and provide effective training to team members.
• Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and managing engagement with and expectations of client executive management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English (fluency is mandatory).
