Head of Admissions

Required: March 2025

SEP Schools are seeking a Head of Admissions for the academic year 2024-2025. Our group comprises successful American, British, and National curriculum schools across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates. We now seek candidates to support with the growth of our schools' enrolment.

Candidates should:

  1. Contribute to the achievement of student enrolment targets.
  2. Be responsible for the processing of student applications and admissions.
  3. Ensure competent administration and record keeping of the admissions process including entry assessments.
  4. Provide strategic direction and leadership for all admissions activities.
  5. Implement Admissions strategies aligned with the school's mission, vision, and values.
  6. Support the transition of families from admissions to parents' liaison and maintain clear communication with academic teams.
  7. Create an outstanding experience for parents and students throughout every stage of the process from applying until they leave BISM.
  8. Review all relevant policies, procedures, quality and customer service standards and ensure their delivery to all prospective families.
  9. Be an exceptional leader of people, coaching and developing your Admissions, marketing, and communication team members.
  10. Oversee all aspects of Admission and enrolment processes and procedures.
  11. Develop, execute, and regularly monitor marketing, retention, and admissions plans.
  12. Lead and drive strategies to generate enquiries through both online and offline campaigns.
  13. Develop key processes and lead the team to guide parents and students through the admissions process, making the experience positive, straightforward, and engaging throughout.
  14. Design and develop marketing strategies to meet enrolment targets and positively promote BISM.
  15. Oversee all parent communication to ensure responsiveness, quality, and attitude.
  16. Assign and review communication, marketing, and social media tasks/products for skilled team members.
  17. Utilize FOH personnel to maximize productivity.
  18. Liaise with Students Affairs for all MOE requirements and procedures.
  19. Liaise with and oversee activities coordinator on large-scale events.
  20. Ensure PRE is achieving the enrolment target and providing high-quality service to new and existing parents.
  21. Be visible to re-enrolment assessing risks.
  22. Work with the entire school to accurately assess school pulse and view unique selling points or areas of improvement.
  23. Meet with prospective parents to explain admission procedures, curriculum, fee structure, and regulations.
  24. Maintain an accurate record of all places available at the school and an up-to-date waiting list.
  25. Prepare and undertake the annual roll over of pupils, preparing files for new pupils and archiving leavers and records.
  26. Prepare and send out all communications regarding admissions events.
  27. Attend Trust meetings relating to Admissions.
  28. Update School events on the website weekly or as required.
  29. Set a good example in terms of punctuality and attendance.
  30. Comply with policies and procedures relating to behavior management, safeguarding, and child protection.
  31. Contribute to the overall ethos/vision of the school.
  32. Evaluate a wide variety of academic qualifications and make decisions on noncomplex applications.
  33. Assist in training new members of the Admissions team.
  34. Oversee and lead the Front of House team.
Job Requirements

  • Experience in public speaking and presentations.
