Our client is a rapidly growing Saudi startup on a mission to empower customers through a powerful ecosystem of tech tools. As they scale operations, they're seeking a commercially-minded VP of Finance to bring financial clarity, leadership, and control to the business.

About the Role :

Ultimate Peak is leading the search for a strategic yet hands-on VP of Finance who will serve as a core member of the executive team. The ideal candidate will balance operational rigor with startup agility — someone who thrives on building, leading, and enabling strong financial foundations in high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, treasury, reporting, and compliance.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Own cash flow management and planning, helping extend runway and ensure financial discipline.
• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and board, advising on financial decisions and growth strategy.
• Support fundraising initiatives, investor reporting, and due diligence processes.
• Build robust internal controls, systems, and finance operations to scale with growth.
• Mentor and develop a lean, high-performing finance team.

Requirements :

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in startups or tech-driven businesses.
• In-depth understanding and application of IFRS standards in a Saudi or regional business context.
• Strong grasp of cash flow management, financial modeling, and scenario planning.
• Experience with audits, fundraising support, and board-level communication.
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent); MBA is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a bonus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
