  • Ensure the proper implementation of the Thales Quality & Customer Satisfaction policy: support the development of the maturity of the Quality & Customer Satisfaction organization, according to the agreed operating model.
  • Support General Quality Assurance activities to ensure the quality of the Products and Services and related operational and support processes in each business is correctly set up and active.
  • Ensure the relationship with Customers on Quality matters is organized and properly managed.
  • For all key customers, a strong and proactive customer contact is established to enable preventive measures ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor Customer Satisfaction in liaison with the different stakeholders (KAMs, Sales, Marketing, Bids, Projects, Services, Quality & Customer Satisfaction, etc.).
  • Ensure customer complaints are properly managed: Provide a POC (Point of Contact) into the organization in case of complaints as well as supporting field data analysis and providing valuable feedback towards the customer as well as inside the organization.
  • Stimulates actions to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide analysis of various customer feedback to the Management and stakeholders.
  • Supply the data resulting from audits, returns, and customer complaints, alert and veto rights, to ensure the reporting and to prevent the risks.
  • Manage third-party audits: audit organization, audit management, report and corrective action management, certificate management.
  • Conduct audits to suppliers: program definition, checklist writing, audit schedule management.
  • Ensure and coordinate all necessary activities related to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications, coordinating with the certification body and relevant Auditor. Comply with the auditing plan and conduct audits to the projects then follow up the Non-Conformity raised in the Audit since closure out.
  • Introduce improvement to prevent customer's issues, adjust processes, procedures, and quality systems to reach the state of the art and to respect customer's expectations.
  • Manage customer claims in conjunction with production, operations, customer service, and sales teams.
  • Integrate procedures, processes, and practices with the Corporate Quality Management System and ensure compliance with the required standards and regulations, to deliver operational performances and customer satisfaction.
  • Investigate all Accidents and implement corrective actions to minimize the risk of re-occurrence.
  • Manage an efficient and accurate action plan to ensure closure of HSE risks identified from internal risk identification reporting processes.
  • Review external audit results, implement corrective actions, and determine opportunities for improvement.
  • Review contractor RAMS when necessary.
  • Organize and carry out health and safety training, including local induction training, manual handling training, and toolbox talks on varying subjects.
  • Plan external Health & Safety training, including First aid and Fire warden training.
  • Plan and oversee fire drills over two local sites and 3 shifts.
  • Collate Safety Statistics for internal and external communication.
  • Collate all applicable information as required to ensure accurate figures are retained for compliance under Producer Responsibility Legislation (Packaging / WEEE / Batteries).
  • Collate and maintain information required to evaluate business carbon footprint.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

  • 3-5 years of experience in the role in manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods.
  • Ability to perform "hands-on" troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • A practical understanding of HSE legislation with experience in the implementation of controls to minimize the risk of injury to staff.
  • A good appreciation of impacts on our environment and options to minimize such impacts.
  • Attention to detail to spot various hazards and complete investigations.

QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Environmental and Quality Engineering or a related technical field (production, industrial, electronics, mechanical, chemistry).
  • Knowledge of Quality Tools like Plan/Quality Inspection & Test Plan.
  • ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 knowledge.
  • PCI knowledge.

PREFERRED SKILLS :

  • Key attitudes: Result/Customer Orientation, Self-motivation, Critical Thinking, Flexibility, and high capacity to work within multicultural teams.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Lean principles knowledge applicable to Projects could be a preferential plus.
  • Ability to speak fluently in English/Arabic.
  • It is also considered a plus the knowledge of other Quality Standards and Lean Management.
  • Strong ability to develop and implement effective short- and long-term strategies to address key issues and achieve the goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Strong team leadership skills, optimizing the team setup to meet the needs of different DIS business lines and their customers.
  • Good influencing/negotiating skills.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Lead Auditor level training to ISO standards (ISO27001); PCI-CP.
  • Lean 6 Sigma qualification or deep know-how (Green Belt) is an advantage.
