As a Maintenance and Quality Engineer at the Saudi Ceramic Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our operations. This includes supervising adherence to QHSE policies and procedures, implementing the approved quality system, and reviewing innovative test procedures to update QHSE policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, and integrity in the QHSE department.
• Supervise adherence to QHSE adequate policies, procedures, and processes to maintain efficient operational excellence and achieve strategic objectives.
• Implement the approved quality system to deliver accurate testing results as per QCHSE recommendations.
• Ensure that physical and environmental conditions are adequate and appropriate for tests performed.
• Implement necessary procedures to ensure employees are safe from physical and chemical hazards in accordance with QCHSE.
• Review modern technical developments and devices to save time and improve reliability.
• Oversee activities to guarantee samples are received, processed, and analyzed systematically and organized.
• Coordinate with third-party consultants and/or inspectors to arrange suitable visits as directed by the QHSE Manager.
• Ensure equipment is used, cleaned, stored, and maintained properly according to manual instructions.
• Review reports and provide appropriate recommendations based on results.
• Share relevant notes and recommendations with Operations and Production Planning Managers.
• Review, update, and approve training courses designed for new hires to introduce them to work specifications.
• Evaluate employee performance regularly to summarize overall progress.
• Add necessary actions to address issues and matters when appropriate.
• Perform other related tasks requested by the line manager.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering) and 3-5 years of experience in the field of Chemistry and Mining within a similar industry are required for this position.
