Position Overview

As an Advanced Placement (AP) Teacher at Riyadh Schools, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exemplary instruction across one or more Advanced Placement courses. Your primary objective will be to ensure that students are not only academically adept but also well-equipped to meet the rigorous demands of AP exams. The position holder will have a profound understanding of the subject matter, demonstrated expertise in innovative instructional methodologies, and a fervent commitment to fostering critical thinking skills in our students.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Curriculum Development:
    • Spearhead the development, refinement, and enrichment of the AP curriculum.
    • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the subject area.

    • Craft comprehensive, year-long AP course plans.
    • Collaborate seamlessly with departmental colleagues.

  2. Instructional Delivery:

  3. Assessment and Evaluation:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area, master's degree and AP certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful teaching experience, with a focus on AP courses.
  • Expertise in and a thorough understanding of College Board AP program requirements.
  • State or provincial certification/licensure for teaching at the secondary level.
  • Proven success in improving student performance on AP exams.
