Our Strategic Advisory team requires an experienced Senior Consultant with real estate advisory experience to join our team in the KSA. The successful candidate will have proven experiences in Strategy and management consulting in real estate advisory services on large-scale international projects ideally in UAE, KSA and the wider Middle East region. The role will require financial modelling and management consulting experience in real estate and infrastructure.

The right candidate will be based in the KSA but will be required to work across the broader Middle East.

Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

  1. Assist on delivering client assignments; key tasks include stakeholder management, preparing client presentations, work products and deliverables.
  2. Undertake real estate market study across asset classes such as Residential, Office, Retail, Industrial, Hospitality etc.
  3. Interpret socio-economic indicators and use them to form the current and future demand models by asset classes.
  4. Undertake demand supply assessments and develop future outlook based on KPIs such as rental rates, sales prices, occupancy and absorption.
  5. Undertake real estate benchmarking by asset classes based on market research and analysis.
  6. Create development programs including proposed development areas (GFAs), Project components and phasing.
  7. Suggest real estate mix, component specifications and phasing plans for proposed real estate segments.
  8. Able to create Development briefs to drive spatial optioneering and real estate strategies in Masterplans.
  9. Provide real estate input into feasibility studies, business plans and capital investment plans to support strategic decision-making.
  10. Integrate sustainable and net zero strategies in projects in addition to addressing any environmental impact assessments and mitigation measures.
  11. Produce clear, succinct write-ups on the KSA and GCC Markets to be included within corporate research reports and consultancy assignments.
  12. Work within both traditional and agile project environments with high degree of ambiguity and a track record of high-quality delivery.
  13. Leverage data and technology to provide innovative solutions to client's challenges.
  14. Stay abreast of industry regulations, economic indicators, and market dynamics to provide timely and relevant insights to clients.

  1. Assist service line leadership in identifying business development opportunities with current and potential clients.
  2. Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals to win work and expand the service line.
  3. Identify opportunities for new and integrated services, bringing the best from our global business and technical domains to our clients in the middle east and beyond.

Practice Building & Development

  1. Contribute to positioning our Consulting and Strategic Advisory services across the Middle East through thought leadership development and social media presence.
  2. Provide guidance, coaching and training to junior staff.
  3. Lead people-related initiatives including recruiting and retaining consulting professionals.
  4. Be a champion for ED&I initiatives.

Qualification:

  1. MBA is required.
  2. Relevant Bachelor's degree, preferably in Real Estate, Finance, Engineering, Economics or Business is required.
  3. Relevant experience: 5+ years.
  4. A combination of experience in strategy and management consulting for built environment, programme and portfolio management, market research, and real estate.
  5. Strong industry/competency background and hands-on experience in real estate and infrastructure advisory.
  6. In-depth knowledge of local and regional real estate markets, regulations, and industry best practices.
  7. Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and reporting writing skills in MS Word.
  8. Excellent understanding of MS Excel, financial modelling, and analytical skills, with proficiency in real estate valuation techniques.
  9. Exposure to Power BI and project reporting tools is preferable.
  10. Ability to analyse and interpret data to deliver insightful practical solutions.

  1. Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of presenting detailed subject matter to a variety of stakeholders.
  2. Willingness and ability to interact with regulatory agencies, stakeholders and clients while developing effective teamwork relationships.
  3. Fluency in written and spoken English, Arabic is preferred.
  4. Willing to travel within KSA and the GCC region.
  5. Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills and able to review the work of others to ensure quality.
  6. Able to prioritize and work effectively under pressure.
  7. Flexible, adaptable, and prepared to take on new challenges and work from other AtkinsRéalis or client office locations.
  8. Highly self-motivated, possessing strong enthusiasm and commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes.
