About the Role:

As the AV Manager for this iconic museum project, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire AV system integration, ensuring a seamless, immersive, and interactive experience for all visitors. You'll work closely with curators, designers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality AV solutions across exhibitions, events, and permanent installations. Your work will be at the forefront of museum innovation, bringing technology and art together to create unforgettable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead AV System Integration: Oversee the integration of state-of-the-art AV technologies for exhibitions, including interactive displays, sound systems, lighting, and multimedia installations.
  • Collaborate with Curators & Designers: Work alongside curators and designers to create an immersive visitor experience, ensuring the AV systems enhance the museum's storytelling and artistic vision.
  • Coordinate AV Content & Scheduling: Manage the scheduling, playback, and content delivery across all exhibitions, ensuring high-quality and seamless AV presentations.
  • Technical Support & Maintenance: Ensure the continuous operation of AV systems, providing troubleshooting and maintenance to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Manage AV Events: Oversee the technical aspects of live events, including lectures, workshops, and special programs, ensuring flawless AV setup and execution.
  • Team Leadership & Training: Lead and mentor a team of AV technicians, providing training, guidance, and ensuring that best practices are followed across all AV-related activities.
  • Quality Control: Review all AV installations and ensure they meet the museum's standards, ensuring that all AV equipment operates efficiently and meets design specifications.
  • Collaborate with Project Teams: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure AV solutions are fully integrated into the overall design and technical framework of the museum.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Experience in AV Management: At least 5 years of experience in managing AV systems within museum, exhibition, or cultural environments.
  • Expertise in AV Systems: A deep understanding of audio, video, lighting, projection, and interactive technologies, as well as the ability to integrate these systems into a cohesive experience.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage complex AV projects from concept to implementation, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team, ensuring high-quality AV solutions are delivered on time.
