Fixed Income Operations Assistant Manager

Core Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the smooth running of the Operations teams making sure an appropriate structure exists below the management level and that succession planning is in place.
  2. Assist to maintain high standards of control and minimal operational loss incidents.
  3. Execute formalized strategy on how GM Ops can bring greater value to the operations function.
  4. Assist to deliver on anticipated efficiencies from projects.
  5. Ensure consistent procedures are being followed and build capability to absorb business growth.
  6. Continue to improve processes and realise efficiency savings. Conduct root cause analysis on repetitive process exceptions and implement fixes.
  7. Compile appropriate metrics to monitor controls, productivity and service levels.
  8. Recruit/train staff as required.
  9. Establish materials, training program etc to ensure specialist product and process knowledge can be retained and handed on appropriately to new staff.
  10. Work with IT to implement both strategic and tactical change program.
  11. Adhere to KRI and KPI targets as set by Global Operations Management.
  12. Develop and enhance Client Service Operating Model.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Around 2 years of experience with preferred 1 year in a relevant role.
