Responsibilities:

  1. Review and monitor detailed project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to ensure all project phases are completed on time.
  2. Timely review the allocation of resources to ensure the efficient availability of personnel, materials, and equipment as per the project requirements.
  3. Track project milestones, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
  4. Design and maintain a real-time project dashboard that provides stakeholders with key performance indicators (KPIs) such as project progress, resource usage, and risk assessments. Ensure that the dashboard is regularly updated and user-friendly for all project participants.
  5. Prepare and present regular progress reports that include schedule status, critical path analysis, variance reports, and earned value analysis (EVA). Deliver these reports in a format tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Create and maintain an incident report template that captures any project delays, risks, or unexpected issues. Ensure that incidents are documented with appropriate impact analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  7. Identify potential risks to the project schedule, assess their impact, and work with the contractors to develop mitigation strategies.
  8. Collaborate closely with contractors to ensure alignment and smooth coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  9. Maintain accurate records of all planning activities, updates, and changes to project schedules, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
  10. Assist with the preparation of cost estimates and monitor project costs to ensure that the project stays within budget and schedule constraints.
  11. Monitor changes in project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring proper documentation and communication of these changes.
  12. Communicate with clients and stakeholders as necessary to update them on project timelines and any schedule-related issues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in construction engineering or equivalent field. Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus. PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) preferred.
  2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably within the engineering and consulting industry. Experience in high and mid-rise buildings is highly desirable.
  3. Proficiency in project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.). Strong knowledge of project management principles, cost control, and resource management.
  4. Proficiency in creating and managing project dashboards using tools like Power BI, Excel, or other reporting platforms. Ability to integrate data and provide clear visual representation of project status.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and offer effective solutions.
  6. Experience creating incident templates that track delays, issues, and risks, ensuring a structured response to project challenges.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English. Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
