The Landscape Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and executing landscape projects from inception to completion. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for creating sustainable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments. The ideal candidate will ensure that all landscape projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They will collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors, to bring innovative landscape designs to life while adhering to environmental regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage landscape projects from initial planning through to execution and completion.
  2. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  3. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and project feasibility.
  4. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project development.
  5. Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
  6. Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Manage project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  8. Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
  9. Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders.
  10. Foster relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

  1. Proven experience in landscape project management with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  2. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and sustainability.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Proficient in project management software and tools.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  8. Knowledge of landscape design principles and horticulture.
  9. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and client needs.
  10. Commitment to professional development and staying updated with industry trends.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of horticulture, plant selection, and landscape maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainable practices.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience in client relationship management.
