The Senior Specialist – Airline Partnerships will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing strategic partnerships with airline companies. This role requires a combination of strong relationship management, industry knowledge, and negotiation skills to ensure the successful collaboration between our organization and airline partners. The Senior Specialist will support the expansion and optimization of these partnerships, focusing on mutual growth, revenue generation, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and establish new strategic airline partnerships to support the growth and goals of the organization.
  2. Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for key airline partners, maintaining strong, long-term relationships to ensure the success and profitability of partnerships.
  3. Contract Negotiation & Renewal: Lead negotiations for new agreements, contract renewals, and amendments with airline partners, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with business objectives.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, product, and operations, to ensure the effective execution of partnership agreements and initiatives.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of airline partnerships, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actions to enhance partnership outcomes.
  6. Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to support the development of relevant and innovative partnership strategies.
  7. Program Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of joint marketing programs, co-branded campaigns, loyalty initiatives, or other mutually beneficial activities.
  8. Customer Insights: Leverage customer data and insights to optimize partnership strategies and deliver improved customer experiences and outcomes.
  9. Partnership Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize existing partnerships to drive value, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance customer offerings.
  10. Reporting & Strategy: Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management on the status of partnerships, KPIs, and future opportunities.
  11. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all partnership agreements and activities comply with industry regulations and organizational standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or account management, preferably in the airline, travel, or hospitality industries.
  3. Proven experience in managing and negotiating complex partnerships.
  4. Strong understanding of the airline industry, travel partnerships, and airline loyalty programs.
  5. Experience in managing multi-faceted partnership projects and campaigns from inception to completion.
  6. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills to secure favorable terms for both the organization and the partner.
  7. Ability to analyze partnership performance data, market trends, and customer insights to drive decisions and strategy.
  8. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
  9. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with senior executives and build trust across various departments.
  10. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
