Responsibilities

Government Relations:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, agencies, and stakeholders at the local, regional, and national levels, such as GACA, MCIT, TGA, etc.
  2. Monitor and analyze policy and regulatory developments affecting UAV operations in Saudi Arabia.

Policy Advocacy:

  1. Develop and execute strategies to promote policy advancements that support drone delivery services in Saudi Arabia.
  2. Actively participate in industry associations and forums to influence the development of UAV-related regulations.

Regulatory Compliance:

  1. Ensure the company's operations comply with all relevant government regulations. Guide regulatory changes and their impact on the business.

Communication:

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and government officials. Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and policy briefs to senior management and government entities.

Partnership Development:

  1. Identify and develop strategic partnerships with government bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to advance the company's interests.
  2. Develop public affairs initiatives that educate stakeholders about the benefits and potential of drone delivery systems.
Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, Public Policy, or aviation-related field. A Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  2. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related field, preferably within the aviation, logistics, or technology sectors, with a strong track record in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
  3. Knowledge: Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks, particularly in aviation or UAV operations. Familiarity with key policy issues affecting the industry.
  4. Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills in English and Arabic (both written and verbal). Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. Proven project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to build and maintain high-level relationships with government officials.
  5. Language: Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.
