As an Assistant Service Manager at Rheem MEA, you will manage service, warranty, spare parts business, and retrofit sales, serving as the primary point of contact for our air and water distributors. You will also provide product technical support to both air and water distributors in KSA regarding the proper application, installation, operation, and service of Rheem products.

This is a field-based position supporting the entire KSA region and requires frequent travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to distributors and ProPartners on proper operation, user maintenance, application, parts identification, and other duties assigned to support company products.
  • Provide detailed technical guidance to air-conditioning and water heater customers, including, but not limited to, troubleshooting, installation recommendations, repair guidance, and participation in the Factory Start-up program for large installations of company products.
  • Track emerging product failure trends based on feedback from external customers and notify management when appropriate.
  • Develop and implement sales plans for the aftermarket business to ensure the achievement of sales and margin objectives.
  • Oversee activities related to monitoring distributor warranty expenses and failure rates, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs.
  • Report issues pertaining to critical customers, product field failures, or other circumstances requiring management involvement.
  • Assist customers with their issues promptly and effectively to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Develop, modify, and update service manuals and parts lists for products as needed.
  • Provide informal and formal training to customers.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in Managing service operations, troubleshooting and repairing HVACR and water heating systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in common computer software applications.
  • Ability to multitask.
