Executive Director - Digital Experience and IT

Job Summary:

The Executive Director of Information Technology will be responsible for leading the planning, development, and execution of all technology and digital initiatives for the client, overseeing their information systems, digital platforms, and technological infrastructure to support operations, enhance audience engagement, and drive commercial growth.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the client's IT infrastructure's development, implementation, and upkeep.
  • Lead the creation and improvement of the client's website, mobile application, and additional online resources.
  • Oversee connections with outside technology suppliers and service providers.
  • Use cutting-edge technologies, such as digital ticketing, on-site connection, and immersive digital media platforms among others, to enhance consumer experience.
  • Utilize data analytics to produce insights and propel campaigns for ever-improving consumer interaction.
  • Supervise the gathering, archiving, and evaluation of the client's data assets.
  • Create data-driven plans to aid in decision-making, streamline processes, and expand business prospects.
  • Analyze, test, and Implement new technologies to enhance consumer satisfaction and client operations.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement the client's digital and IT strategy in accordance with overarching business goals.
  • Create organization-wide IT guidelines and standards.
  • Oversee the IT budget and maximize investments in effective technology.
  • Take the lead in developing partnerships, external relationships, and technology platforms.
  • Use a variety of tools and implementation and assessment techniques to carry out and assess strategy progress in order to fulfill goals and spot opportunities and gaps based on the client's plan.
  • Represent the technology agenda in staff meetings and hiring decisions.
  • Identify and apply cutting-edge technologies to the client's benefit; assisting departmental use, technology profitably; keep an eye on system infrastructure to ensure efficiency, availability and performance; and establish procedures for data security and quality assurance.
  • Use input from stakeholders to guide crucial technical developments and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders, multilaterals, and other international and local organizations in order to raise the prominence of the client and form partnerships that will provide effective technology capabilities.
  • Use technology to provide business value, making sure that the systems and processes produce results that align with objectives.
  • Make sure that Senior Management in the company is updated frequently, with accurate information using digital platforms and technology.
  • Support the implementation of a performance management system and participate in training and resource development programs that emphasize knowledge, abilities, and attitudes to help employees fulfill their current roles and develop the long-term capacity to take on more responsibility.
