Job Purpose:

An inventory specialist manages a company's stock to ensure products are available when needed. Their job includes tracking inventory, conducting audits, and preventing stock issues. This role is essential in maintaining smooth business operations and optimizing resources.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Creating an effective space plan and storage area within the warehouse.
  2. Training inventory staff on how to work safely and prevent product loss.
  3. Maintaining and reviewing an accurate recording of stock records.
  4. Ordering additional supplies when needed.
  5. Negotiating with vendors to ensure the best deal is reached for the company.
  6. Notifying company management regarding product shortages and discrepancies.
  7. Overseeing stock rotation procedures.
  8. Communicating with store management about any inventory issues.
  9. Working with management if products are missing or damaged within a shipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Minimum High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  3. Good organizational skills.
  4. The ability to manage multiple projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner.
  5. Problem-solving skills to come up with ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome inventory problems.
  6. Experience in using Microsoft Excel.
  7. Proficiency in English.
