As a Technical Program Manager at Amazon Music, you will have the opportunity to work closely with product, design, software development and platform teams to implement strategy and execution. Key job responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our CCMP/Growth team. You will partner with our Business Stakeholders, Product Owners and Software Engineering teams to ensure requirements are clearly captured, documented, designed, tested and delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Delivering highly calibrated technical writing and documentation to a wide audience.
  2. Managing complex growth experiments and inter/intra Music product programs from start to finish.
  3. Independently leading cross-functional projects with disparate stakeholders, effectively balancing priorities and making smart trade-offs.
  4. Delivering strategy and business review communications at the executive level and guiding discussion around them.
  5. Evaluating potential risks and how to address them; be able to deliver high priority projects.
  6. Prioritizing mitigation efforts using risk management concepts.
A day in the life

This high visibility role will require senior leadership communication and influencing while working with stakeholders across multiple organizations. You will regularly deep dive issues to determine the root cause and partner with stakeholders for resolution, including the right stakeholders as needed. This role has regular interaction with various business units across Amazon Music and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will manage end-to-end projects, often managing multiple projects/programs at once, while demonstrating high judgement, clear communication, creative approaches, the ability to think big, and a consistent track record of delivering results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  2. 2+ years of software development experience.
  3. 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
  4. Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  5. Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
  6. Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
  2. Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
  3. Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.
  4. Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules.
