Position Overview:

The Claims Specialist efficiently manages and processes claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external authorities, handling legal aspects of claims, and ensuring timely resolution through effective communication and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

Claims Processing & Management:

  1. Review, assess, and process claims in line with company policies and industry regulations.
  2. Ensure all necessary documentation and evidence are collected and verified.
  3. Maintain accurate claim records and update the system regularly.

Coordination & Follow-Up:

  1. To ensure smooth claim handling, communicate with internal departments, such as legal and finance.
  2. Follow up with external authorities, insurance companies, and regulatory bodies to facilitate claim resolution.
  3. Track claim status and ensure timely responses to inquiries.

Legal & Compliance Handling:

  1. Ensure all claims comply with relevant laws and company policies.
  2. Support in legal documentation and claim dispute resolution.
  3. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Reporting & Documentation:

  1. Prepare claim reports, summaries, and analyses for management review.
  2. Identify patterns or potential risks in claims data and recommend process improvements.
  3. Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance checks.

Operation Tasks:

  1. Follow-up on Bookings to ensure smooth operations by tracking and monitoring ongoing claims and booking statuses.
  2. Operational quality checkups by performing audits to ensure service quality and policy compliance.
  3. Drafting claims' terms and conditions by writing and updating claims policies and terms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Vehicle Insurance, or a related field.
  2. Legal Knowledge: Understanding claims regulations, vehicle insurance policies, and legal procedures.
  3. Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Writing Reports: Ability to document claim investigations, analyze operational data, and present findings.
  5. Follow-up & Coordination: Ability to manage multiple cases, follow up effectively, and ensure resolution.
  6. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Analytical mindset to assess claims and make informed decisions.
  7. Attention to Detail: Accuracy in reviewing documentation, policies, and compliance requirements.
  8. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with claims management systems, MS Office, and reporting tools.
